&lt;p&gt;Lucene is nice because you can insert documents without a full reindex, but reindexing isn&#039;t that terrible for small data sets, plus Sphinx allows merging multiple indexes.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;Wow.  I use firefox because of the addons it has. IE has nothing to compare to it. I did not realize how much went into the little box popping up in the corner saying I had updates.  Thank you for your work.&lt;/p&gt;
