… and the new Delicious has landed

by Dave Dash 31Jul08

Working at Delicious with the team has been a wonderful experience. This is probably the most fun I've had working on a project. I am really glad to work on a site that I use almost daily (and regularly if not daily before I joined) with a team that really cares about their product.

So without further ado...

Delicious 2.0

Here's the official announcement.

And here's some photos I took.

Very cool, I didn’t know you worked as a Delicious engineer? Maybe you should update your, “about” page. :)

Yeah, it’s a secret buried within the blog somewhere… or maybe it’s on my other blog, davedash.com.

I keep meaning to unify them :)

and writing my own blogging software in django

Congrats Dave! It’s been a long time coming. Glad to see everything went smoothly.

    Congrats Dave!

I’ve been hoping it would launch for quite some time :) What I wonder. You seem to prefer Django, but delicious is build on Symfony right? How do you see the differences between the two frameworks?

    Cheers, Thierry
